Pour les nations enclav\u00e9es comme l&rsquo;\u00c9thiopie \u2014 g\u00e9ant d\u00e9mographique de plus de 120 millions d&rsquo;habitants \u2014 et l&rsquo;Ouganda, l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s rapide et comp\u00e9titif aux fa\u00e7ades maritimes est une question de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique nationale. La modernisation acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e des corridors ferroviaires \u00e0 \u00e9cartement standard (SGR) connectant Addis-Abeba au port de Djibouti d&rsquo;une part, et Kampala au port de Mombasa au Kenya d&rsquo;autre part, brise d\u00e9finitivement les goulets d&rsquo;\u00e9tranglement logistiques qui asphyxiaient la croissance macro\u00e9conomique de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces r\u00e9seaux ferroviaires \u00e0 haute performance, enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9s pour la plupart, se substituent aux flottes de camions vieillissantes qui saturaient des infrastructures routi\u00e8res satur\u00e9es. Autour de ces hubs ferroviaires, les gouvernements ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de vastes zones franches industrielles qui attirent les manufacturiers internationaux de l&rsquo;agro-industrie, du textile et de l&rsquo;assemblage \u00e9lectronique.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette dorsale logistique transforme la structure m\u00eame des \u00e9conomies est-africaines. L&rsquo;\u00c9thiopie exporte d\u00e9sormais ses produits manufactur\u00e9s l\u00e9gers vers les march\u00e9s mondiaux en un temps record, tandis que l&rsquo;Ouganda connecte son secteur agricole aux march\u00e9s urbains r\u00e9gionaux en pleine expansion.
